Fantastic News, German Court Enforces Day of Rest. Isn't it about time? If we do not enforce a tax law no one would pay taxes. If we do not enforce holiday pay, business' would not pay out holiday pay. You have to have laws in a society to help those who cannot help themselves. |

What fantastic news! No Sunday shopping, and it took the catholic church to pressure government to see this happen. Sadly it had to be the government in Croatia that banned Sunday shopping. Why is it that our government officials want Sunday shopping? |

Sunday shopping has been of the norm over in Scotland. MSPs have passed on a petition to Westminster for the return to Sunday as a day of rest. So it should be a day of rest , all around our beautiful world , these Big box stores have managed to take away not only Sunday as a day of rest, but opened up on traditional Holidays. These big corporations have convinced people that religion is a bad thing and that it's keeping them from having the freedom to chose whether they want to open or not. |

Now that Sunday shopping is happening in our province , I have to shake my head. I have been hearing from some people that they voted "NO" and decided that they would shop on Sunday. One person told me by staying home on a Sunday, she wouldn't be able to make a difference that people would still go shopping. She then told me she went shopping ,oh yes on Sunday.
That totally disappoints me to hear that, as we all should stand by our beliefs and stand by the plebiscite results. |
